Welcome to NinjaWarriorX, where I’m sharing all my Ninja Warrior training tips, body hacks, and secrets I learned myself or from the best Ninja Warriors out there!
It doesn’t matter whether you are training for Ninja Warrior, or want to bring your performance in Calisthenics, OCR, bouldering, or climbing to the next level. You will love these tips!
Who am I and why am I doing this?
My name is Niklas Weber, and I’m a 36-year-old engineer, software developer, enthusiastic boulderer, hard-training Ninja Warrior, and UNAA certified Ninja Coach.
The moment I saw Ninja Warrior for the first time, I was hooked and wanted to be a competitor myself. That came true in 2019, when I already reached the semi-finals of Ninja Warrior Germany.
This year, I will get another chance to hit the buzzer. Below is my not so serious application video for the current season:
I train five to six times a week, including bouldering, fitness, parkour, and strength in general, as well as HIIT running, to improve my Ninja Warrior skills. If you are interested in my workout log, feel free to have a look.
I’m analyzing what and how the best Ninja Warriors, climbers, and functional athletes are training and research relevant publications for improving my physical and mental performance.
And as I’m a big believer in sharing, you will learn everything I know or learned myself without having to do all that work!
So have fun watching and reading my posts. Feel free to leave a comment. Ask questions. I’ld love hearing from you!
If you are new on this site and want to become a Ninja Warrior, I recommend starting with my Ninja Warrior Training Guide for getting an overview and then diving deeper into the single training areas.
Also check out the equipment I use. This is going to be everything you’ll ever need!

Climbing has always been a passion of mine. Actually, it started with an age of 2 years, where I climbed from a diaper-changing table across the bookshelf onto a wardrobe. No street lamp and no tree were safe from me during my youth.
Even now as a grown-up I can’t resist when spotting an occasion. And I guess that’s why friends often call me “little monkey”.
